The haldi ceremony is a pre-wedding ritual where a turmeric paste (haldi) is applied to the bride and groom's skin to purify and bless the couple. Traditional Indian attire is recommended, yellow, orange, and pink are common colors to wear to this event!

Traditional Indian attire is recommended - pastel colors, or a brightly colored pastel outfit if you do not have an Indian outfit.
A sangeet is a union of the families for both the bride and groom the night before the wedding ceremony through a musical party. A drink ticket will be provided for all guests for a Colorado local beer, liquor, or wine of your choice! If the drink ticket is used on a soft drink, there will be unlimited refills all night. A buffet consisting of appetizers and pub food will be provided. The Sangeet venue is about 15 minutes from the Marriott and transportation will be provided.
9:00 am - 9:45 am
Indian Wedding Attire
A baraat is the groom's procession to the ceremony site. This is a high energy dance party with a DJ and Dhol player (drummer). Transportation will be provided to Spruce Mountain Ranch from the Marriott for the start of the baraat. It is about a 35 minute drive from the Marriott to the wedding venue, so if you have very young children or are taking care of older adults, you may want to drive yourself to have more flexibility.

Traditional Indian Wedding Attire.
The wedding will be a traditional hindu ceremony lasting about 1-1.5 hours at the outdoor ceremony site within Spruce Mountain's upper ranch. Please prepare for being outside. The ceremony will be followed a buffet lunch. Transportation to and from the Marriott will be provided.
6:00 pm - 11:00 pm
American Formal or Indo-Western Attire
Join us for a beautiful cocktail hour, speeches, buffet dinner, open bar, and the best dance party of the summer under pristine Colorado stars! The cocktail hour and reception will take place in the indoor/outdoor Ponderosa Room. Transportation will be provided to and from the reception from the Marriott. It is about a 35 minute drive to the wedding venue from the Marriott.
