Travel

The Wedding Website of Erika Settles and Don Moran
Flight options, places to stay, and transportation logistics to make your travel planning a little easier.

Flight

Hancock County-Bar Harbor Airport (BHB)

This airport is located in Trenton, Maine. It's about 15 minutes from Ellsworth and 30 minutes from Acadia National Park. Although it is the closest airport, it may be more costly.

Flight

Bangor International Airport (BGR)

This airport is located in Bangor, Maine. It's about 40 minutes from Ellsworth and 1 hour and 15 minutes from Acadia National Park. It should be more affordable to find flights coming and going from here.

Flight

Portland International Jetport (PWM)

If you want to fly into a major city and see more of Maine, this airport is located in Portland, Maine. It's about 2 1/2 hours from Ellsworth and 3 hours and 15 minutes from Acadia National Park. It's the largest airport of the three.

Shuttle

Getting to the ceremony

February 27, 2027 2:15 pm - 2:30 pm

To make life easier (and to keep us all together), we'll be providing transportation from the Jarvis Homestead to the ceremony at Acadia, and then on to the reception afterward. This skips the hassle of navigating winter roads into the park and the per-vehicle entrance fee. Staying at the Jarvis Homestead? Just be ready to go at our departure time and we'll handle the rest. Staying elsewhere? You're welcome to meet us at the Jarvis Homestead and either hop in with the group or follow us into the park in your own vehicle. The park entrance fee is $35 per vehicle, or free if you have an America the Beautiful pass. Departure time and return logistics are still TBD — we'll update this section once we have everything finalized.
