Head over for lunch after a day at the beach on Plum Island. This place is probably our favorite in the area. Highly recommend their lobster rolls!
Others will argue this is THE spot for the best fried clams, plus it has a nice view.
Make sure to visit Clam Box on your search for the best fried clams in the North Shore. This shack, located in a shingled building that resembles an open- topped clam box, is considered by some to be the best place for fried clams. Be prepared to wait in line but we promise you it’s worth it!
August is the perfect time for blueberry and blackberry picking! You should definitely stop by for some locally grown fruits and veggies if you are returning from Crane Beach
Rent stand up paddle boards for the day!
If you are a history lover/buff, The Freedom Trail is a must! That being said, neither Dan or Erika have ever done this 2.5-mile-long walk through the heart of Boston despite living steps away for 9 years. There are a variety of different kinds of tours, including pub crawls, food tours, and chocolate tours! Should you complete the tour, please let us know what you think.
A great option if you want to try a local brewery
