If you're here for a long weekend, there's nothing more Boston than going to a red sox game!

Crane Beach

Ipswich, MA

If you're staying for the weekend, escape the city & pack your bathing suit! Crane beach can definitely get a little busy in the summertime, so be sure to get in super early or later in the afternoon once the morning wave has passed.

Wingaersheek Beach

Gloucester, MA 01930

Another local favorite.

Plum Island

Newburyport, MA 01950

The southern tip of Plum Island is protected by a national wildlife refuge, ie super quiet beach without the masses. There are a very limited number of parking spots, so you have to get an early start if you're committed.

Bob Lobster

49 Plum Island Turnpike, Newbury, MA 01951
, (978) 465-7100

Head over for lunch after a day at the beach on Plum Island. This place is probably our favorite in the area. Highly recommend their lobster rolls!

J.T. Farnham's

Others will argue this is THE spot for the best fried clams, plus it has a nice view.

Clam Box of Ipswich

246 High Street, Ipswich, MA 01938

Make sure to visit Clam Box on your search for the best fried clams in the North Shore. This shack, located in a shingled building that resembles an open- topped clam box, is considered by some to be the best place for fried clams. Be prepared to wait in line but we promise you it’s worth it!

Russell Orchards Farm Store and Winery

143 Argilla Road, Ipswich, MA 01938

That being said, neither Dan or Erika have ever done this 2.5-mile-long walk through the heart of Boston despite living steps away for 9 years. There are a variety of different kinds of tours, including pub crawls, food tours, and chocolate tours! Should you complete the tour, please let us know what you think.

Ipswich Ale Brewery

2 Brewery Place, Ipswich, MA 01938
