We recommend that our guests stay in Providence, rather than closer to Jamestown. This is for a few reasons - Providence is closer to the airports, has more reasonably priced hotels, and will be where we host the welcome dinner and after party. We plan to rent a shuttle bus to transport people between Providence and Jamestown (about a 40 minute drive) on the day of the wedding so that folks won't have to rent a car.
All of the main events will be held outdoors. The after party location, Hot Club, also has a riverfront deck. All of our guests are vaccinated, but we kindly ask that everyone tests for COVID-19 before the event. We will have extra COVID-19 tests on hand for anyone who needs one.
Yup! We really appreciate that you'll be there anyway, and we hope it gives you the chance to enjoy Providence and Rhode Island over the weekend leading up to it!
Yes! There is a parking lot at the venue.
We've added more details on the RSVP page, but in general, we kindly ask that you dress formally for the ceremony & reception. For anyone who would wear a jacket, jackets are preferred, at least for the ceremony, and suits and ties are welcome. However, please wear clothes that you will be comfortable in while outside! This is especially the case for shoes, since we will spend time in the grass.
The ceremony and reception sites are both a short walk from the parking lot.
Yes! We will be asking a few family members specifically to give speeches, but anyone who would like to speak will be welcome to do so!
Yes!
June weather typically ranges from the low 60s in the evening to the high 70s during the day. The venue is on the water, which gets a good breeze, so we recommend layers.
Milo will absolutely be part of the ceremony. We are currently working on what his specific role will be.
