Snowbowl Scenic Gondola
Ride up the mountain for panoramic views. Bring a jacket, it’s cold at the top!
Bearizona Wildlife Park
Get up close with bears, wolves, and other wildlife on the drive-through tour, then hop out to explore the walk-through zoo area for even more animals and fun.
Wupatki National Monument
Ancient cliff dwellings and fascinating Pueblo history. There’s a small entrance fee (or your National Park Pass works) and you’ll need a car for the adventure.
Lowell Observatory
Flagstaff’s own stargazing spot. Check out the historic telescopes and look for planets, stars, and galaxies.
Buffalo Park
An easy, peaceful walk among the pines (with mountain views) close to town. Perfect for a picnic or a chill stroll!
Lava River Cave
A short, fun hike through a lava tube! Bring a flashlight (two light sources per person is recommended) and a jacket because it’s chilly inside.
Grand Canyon National Park
Venture an hour north of Flagstaff to see the Grand Canyon! Enjoy the stunning views at the rim and don’t hike too far down unless you’re ready for the climb back up. Entrance fee or National Park Pass required.
Sedona
About an hour south on the 89A scenic drive (so pretty!). Try a hike (Bells Rock is a very easy hike with good views), shop local (the Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village is beautiful), and grab a bite in town after (the Coffee Pot is a great breakfast spot and the Hideaway House has great views)! The red rocks are unforgettable.
