Hike in Yosemite! (Optional)

Hiking gear and shoes
For those of you who want to get the party started early and work out them glutes while experiencing one of the most amazing hikes in our great nation (take that Europe) we'll head into Yosemite Valley for a fun and strenuous hike on the Mist Trail on Friday morning. The mist trail is strenuous hike (minimum 3 mile round trip with ~1,200 feet of elevation) but is well worth it. An amazing experience any time of year, but especially fun in the spring because you'll get to hike near full and flowing waterfalls. So expect to get a soaked, but usually a welcome reprieve from the heat. * You can also bring a rain poncho or waterproof gear to stay comfortable. Hiking shoes with excellent traction are recommended for the slippery, wet stairs.

Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees to sombreros and mariachi gear. Keep in mind we'll be outside and the weather can drop in the evening time. Bring layers.
Please join us for our welcome barbecue! We'll host dinner and drinks (dinner served from 6-8) in a casual poolside setting.

Ceremony

This event will be cocktail attire (semi-formal). Please keep in mind that the ceremony will take place on natural ground. And remember stilettos and dirt are not always compatible (and we will laugh at you if you fall).
For the ceremony, please meet at Rushcreek lodge's reception area or in front of the lodge 30 minutes before the ceremony is scheduled to begin. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm. You should plan to arrive around 3pm. The ceremony will take place on the property, but requires a 10 minute walk from the reception area. If you need assistance to get there, the receptionist can secure a ride for you by golf cart (pretty sweet if you ask me). Then we'll head back down to the main area for the reception.

This event is cocktail attire (semi formal so think suits for the boys and cocktail dresses for the ladies). The reception will be both indoor and outdoor so bring layers for the evening.
Let the party begin! Dinner will be served family style. Following the semi-traditional reception and laser tag competition (help me convince Erika to do this!) we'll move into the tavern for some additional fun until 12am for the party animals.

Come schvitz out all the toxins from the night before with the (kinda) newly married couple! The resort has a lovely spa area for a reasonable price so we will be there sweating it out on Sunday!
