Ogunquit Beaches
North, Footbridge, and Main Beach are all great places to enjoy a day by the shore. All beaches have public parking and restrooms. Main Beach - Has a great selection of beach dining including Charlie's Takeout and Splash! Footbridge Beach - Although they do not have beachside dining, we highly recommend footbridge if you looking for a beach with tons of space for an ocean picnic. North Beach - This is the closest beach access to Wells, Maine. A great place for a picnic, bocci tournaments, and easy on and easy off access for little ones!
Perkins Cove
Explore the town where Erika and Alex spent their first Maine vacation together! The Marginal Way
Have you ever dreamed of walking along Maine's rocky coastline?! Park in Perkins Cove and walk the Marginal Way Trail from the Cove to downtown Ogunquit. If you want to get your extra steps in try one of the public parking lots near the Main Beach or downtown Ogunquit and walk through the town to the Marginal Way Entrance. The walk is so breathtaking you will want to do it at least once, maybe even twice. Too tired to walk back, ride in style on the Ogunquit Trolley ($5 per person, exact fare only) to get back to your car after a lovely walk.
Shop 'Til Your Drop
It would not be a list of Erika and Alex's recommendations without a little retail therapy. From outlet shops to quaint New England downtowns, the southern shore has deals and steals to browse.
