Question
When is the wedding and other festivities?
Answer
We have reserved the ranch and all the lodging for Thursday October 9 (check in at 5pm) through Sunday October 12 (check out at 11am). The rehearsal/welcome party dinner is Friday 10/10 and the wedding is Saturday 10/11

Do I need to stay the whole time?
Answer
Nope! We just want everyone there for the main event on Saturday, but please schedule your travel however works for you. We still have to do a flat fee for lodging whether you stay one night or all 3 nights, but if this is an issue please reach out to David and I so we can help!
Question
Can I pick my room at the ranch?
Answer
Text David or I if you are curious about your room assignment! All rooms have equal amenities and we are coordinating rooms based on guests who know each other.

Is there a registry?
Answer
Nope! No gifts of any kind are expected. We know it will be an investment to come to Colorado and stay at the ranch with us and we are just grateful for all our friends and family making the trip! If you would like to contribute to our honeymoon fund, please visit the Gifts section of the website!

What meals are provided for the weekend?
Answer
Dinner and drinks Friday and Saturday night! We may have some food available in the main lodge shared kitchen for other meals, but please plan to grab some groceries in town as you will have a kitchen or visit downtown Salida for a variety of restaurants.

Can I bring my dog?
Answer
We are kindly asking for all furry friends to stay home. It is a dog-friendly ranch, but our dogs, Josie and Russell, will be there celebrating and they are not good with other dogs. Josie and Russell are part of our family and we want them to be comfortable and enjoy as much as our other loved ones. Thanks for understanding!

What is the weather in Salida this time of year?
Answer
It can be up to the 70s during the day and down to 40s at night. Plan to bring layers! Even if it is 50 during the day, the Colorado sun is hot at 7,000 feet.

What do I wear?!

Welcome Party: Western Theme- wear denim, a bolo tie, cowboy hat, or boots! Have fun, be casual- its a party Wedding: Semi Formal/Cocktail Attire: nice dresses or jumpsuits for the ladies. Boots may be more comfortable than heels, but heels are doable! For the guys, suits or jackets and slacks. If you want some ideas check out these Pinterest boards! How to prepare for high elevation?
Answer
Eat, drink LOTS of water, and rest when you can! Don't go too hard with the drinks right away. Each drink is times 2 here, so drink responsibly.
