August 19th. You can RSVP either online through this website or by mailing back the card included in your invitation.
Garden party attire. The wedding ceremony will be held in a wooded area so high heels or stilettos are not encouraged.
As much as we love our younger friends and family, we are having an adults only wedding.
Our guest list is very tight for this venue. If you have a guest that you have not already discussed with Taryn and Erik, please contact them immediately.
Both the ceremony and the reception will be taking place at Mountain Memories at Thorpewood. There will be a short drive from the ceremony site to the reception lodge and the staff will assist with directing you.
Yes, there is free parking at the venue.
The ceremony is outdoors in a wooded area. The reception is in a lodge. Dinner will be indoors and the rest of the reception will have access to an indoor dance space, an enclosed porch, and an outdoor patio with a fire pit.
The weather should be warm this time of year, though it may get cool after the sun sets are we are in the mountains.
We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the lodge where we will have a cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Guests are encouraged to take pictures at the photo booth for the guest book in the meantime!
We will be having a buffet with a beef dish and a chicken dish. If you have special dietary needs (vegetarian/kosher/halaal, etc.) please indicate that in the space provided on your RSVP.
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
