Brian and Kelsey's story started when Kelsey moved to Fair Haven, NJ in the summer of 1999... Little did either of them know, in the fall, they'd be attending 2nd grade at Viola L. Sickles School with their future spouse! Brian and Kelsey became friends during their 8th grade school year, when they were both in Mr. Tucker's class. They spent many lunch periods eating together in the history classroom and listening to CDs on Mr. Tucker's boombox. Brian and Kelsey grew in their friendship for 5 years before they started dating in 2010. While Kelsey went to college and grad school in Virginia, and Brian started his career in IT in New Jersey, the two of them talked for endless hours on the phone, sent each other innumerable presents, and spent maybe 50% of their lives on Skype together. Now, Brian and Kelsey are enjoying being in the same state at the same time and building a life together.

Brian and Kelsey took their first ever vacation together last October. On Saturday morning, Brian and Kelsey planned to watch the sunrise on their favorite beach. Brian was oddly chipper about getting up that early... but Kelsey didn't suspect a thing! As Brian and Kelsey watched the glowy sunrise, Brian pulled out the ring and asked her to marry him! The answer, of course, was yes, because Kelsey knew she was going to marry Brian before they even started dating. Brian and Kelsey then went for a celebratory breakfast at Alice's Kitchen, because every exciting life event deserves yummy eggs.
