Travel Note
Chicago is an easy-to-navigate city with plenty of transportation options. Our venue Chief O’Neill’s is located in the Avondale neighborhood (where we live!), about a 15-minute drive from downtown. Rideshares like Uber and Lyft are readily available throughout the city. If you prefer public transportation, the CTA Blue Line and several bus routes provide quick access to the area. Street parking is available near the venue, but we recommend checking signage carefully! While we won’t have formal hotel blocks for our party, we’ve put together some recommendations to make your trip planning a little easier. We’re so excited to celebrate with you and hope you find a spot that feels just right!

Located in the Lakeview neighborhood (right around the corner from Wrigley Field!), it offers easy access to the heart of downtown Chicago. Plus, the Addison bus line runs directly from this area to Chief O’Neill’s, making it an easy trip to the venue without needing a car.

Located in the heart of Wicker Park, The Robey offers a stylish, boutique hotel experience just about 10 minutes from Chief O’Neill’s. It's known for its beautiful rooftop views and easy access to some of Chicago’s best shops, bars, and restaurants. A perfect spot if you want to stay somewhere lively, local, and close to the party!

For a less traditional hotel experience, we suggest Longman & Eagle, a cozy inn above our favorite whiskey bar (and fine dining restaurant!) just a few minutes from Chief O’Neill’s. It's perfect for guests looking for a cool, local stay in our neck of the woods.

For a home-stay, Avondale and Logan Square offer a variety of charming Airbnb options. These neighborhoods are known for their vibrant culture, eclectic dining, and are in close proximity to our venue. If you’re flying in and prefer to stay closer to the airport, there are plenty of hotel options near O’Hare International Airport. O’Hare is about a 20–25 minute drive from Chief O’Neill’s and the surrounding neighborhoods. Rideshares, taxis, and the CTA Blue Line make it easy to get between the airport, downtown, and the venue.
