If you have any further questions that are not listed below please reach out to our wedding coordinator Linda Kemp at (517)862-5083
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! For the ceremony and dinner, semi-formal attire is requested. We kindly encourage guests to wear earth-tone colors (sage, champagne, tan, olive, rust, etc.) to complement the aesthetic of our special day. This is completely OPTIONAL —your presence is what matters most! For the evening reception, cocktail or evening chic is perfect.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Full-day guests should arrive by 3:30 p.m. to be seated for the ceremony beginning at 4pm. (If you arrive late, you may not be permitted entrance until bride is down the aisle). Reception-only guests are welcome to arrive at 8:00 p.m. for the party! Ceremony: 4:00 p.m. (adults only except wedding party kids) Reception: 8:00 p.m. (kids welcome)

Question

Will the ceremony be unplugged?

Answer

Yes. To allow our photographer to capture the ceremony beautifully, we kindly request that guests keep phones and cameras put away during the ceremony. Your presence and attention mean the world to us.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation included a plus one, it will be listed by name when you RSVP. Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly ask that children (unless in wedding party) not attend the ceremony or dinner. All are welcome to join us for the fun starting at 8:00 p.m. at the reception!

Question

What happens between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

For full-day guests there will be a cocktail hour where drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served directly following the ceremony. Cocktail hour will be located at our reception venue {The Fountains Banquet Center} . The evening will then flow into dinner and the dance floor will open when the rest of our guests arrive at 8:00 p.m.

Question

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Dinner will only be served to full-day guests who have RSVP'D . After party-only guests will enjoy dessert, drinks, and dancing starting at 8:00 p.m.

Question

Is there a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes! Share your photos with #GettingGothard so we can relive the memories with you!
