On February 5th 2022, Rachael went to Bronson Bierhall in Arlington, VA to meet up with a few of her friends who also worked in the ICU. One of her girlfriends brought her boyfriend and his friend. That friend ended up being Eric. He and Rachael immediately hit it off. They split a large German beer stein and a pretzel. Rachael (being the patient person that she is!!) asked Eric - "so when are you going to ask me out??" They set up their first date for the very next morning. The rest is history!

One day in December, we had plans to get the keys early and look at the first home we were moving into together. At the bottom of the stairs, Eric popped the question. It was so special! The only time moving was so fun and exciting.
