Where is Harsen's Island and how do I get there?

Answer

Harsens Island is located about 1 hour northeast of downtown Detroit. Guests will have to take a short car ferry (less than five minutes) to travel to the island. The Bride and Groom will provide ferry tickets once guests have RSVP'd. An address for the ferry can be found on the travel page.

Will there be parking at the venue?

There will be spots available to park, free of charge.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. Due to our venue capacity, our guest list is by invitation only. Please refer to your wedding invitation regarding a plus one.

What if I have a food allergy?

What is the attire?

Answer

The attire for this event is semi-formal. Men are encouraged to wear dress pants or dress shorts with a button down or polo. Women are encouraged to wear a casual cocktail dress or dressy sundress.

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Unfortunately there are no hotels located on the island. However, the Bride and Groom have reserved a handful of airbnbs that are prioritized for out-of-town guests. The Bride and Groom will be reaching out to people to provide that information. There are also two hotels that are off the island that guests can stay at. Those can be found in the travel section.
