Will there be typos?

Answer

Yes. Eric wrote thins and Mary hasn't proof read it yet! **EDIT** Mary's mom ended up proof reading it, but we left one for humor.

Are you going to livestream your wedding?

Answer

Parts of it, if we can. We are still working out the details, but we do want to share the nuptials and some other parts with our friends and family across the world who could not attend! Check back for more info!

Can we take photos or videos?

Answer

YES PLEASE!! We GREATLY encourage EVERYONE to take as many photos and as much video as they want. We will be setting up a cloud upload site for you to share all of your photos and videos to, allowing the Bride and Groom to have the joy of experiencing your various view points of this momentous occasion!

What is the theme?

Answer

We are going for an old school Hollywood / Oscars Night theme. Do not feel obligated to overdress, but please do not underdress either.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Ideally suits and tuxedos for the men, with ball gowns and cocktail dresses for the ladies. However, we don't want to burden you financially. Just try to dress in the best you can as if you were attending the Academy Awards!

Why are kids not invited?

Answer

Mostly because we are going for a more adult oriented party vibe. There is likely to be course language, dirty jokes, etc... There's an open bar for F's sake!

Where do I park?

Answer

The wedding and reception is on the top floor of a high rise building. There is a parking garage at the bottom of it as part of the building. We are still looking into if this will be free parking or not. Please check back for updates!

Why is Mary's last name "Von Butts"?

Answer

As you may know, Eric has a very public internet persona and Mary is often a part of it. Eric and Mary want to share the big day with all their online friends, but in doing so, some not great people might check it out and she'd rather not share her actual last name to the global public.

Yes. Yes we did. Some beers, wines and decent mixed drinks. MAYBE some really good stuff if you're good...ish.

Answer

Yes! It's one of the favorite things for Eric and ESPECIALLY Mary! So, why wouldn't we want to sing with and for our friends! Who knows we might get some fun group sings going! It's a party after all. Now, let's get this circle pit started!

If I'm from out of town, where should I stay?

We have a few ideas and we are working on it with great haste! Check back and we will have this information for you soon!

If I need help and want to talk to a human on the big day, what do I do?

We are working on hiring a "Day of" Co-ordinator. We will have SOME ONE that day that should be reachable and have the answers you'll need. Please check back soon and we should have more information.

So, what's the deal with gifts?

Answer

Well, Mary and Eric aren't really in need of anything that would be typical wedding gifts! Also, we do not want to burden anyone with thinking a gift is required. If you do wish to commemorate our big day with something, please feel free. What we would LOVE is what we call the "Renovations & Vacations" fund. If you check our gift registry, there are many options for monetary gifts that help us do more of the things we LOVE doing. From helping us travel more, rock out more or just find more ways to create incredible memories and have some wonderful keepsakes. Or even getting some additions, alterations and general fixing up of our house! Ultimately, all the monetary gifts all go into one big fund, but you'll have a fun way letting us know what you'd like us to spend it on.

What about the food?

Eric's favorite restaurant in all of Kentucky is Azur. Most of guest list are the people that work there... because they are all amazing! Eric and Mary were lucky enough to sit down with Chef Jeremy Ashby and create an AMAZING menu that will be provided by Dupree Catering. All the food is designed to reference various important moments, proposals and fond memories of Eric and Mary. And maybe a few other fun nods! After the ceremony, hors d’oeuvre will be served and should be at a self serve table with California Rolls Ceviche Jamaican Jerk Hand Pies Dinner service will start with a Salad. (Specifics will be listed closer to date) When you RSVP, you'll have the choice of 4 different dinner options. You can change your mind and change it via your original email up until September 2nd 2022, at which time choices will mostly be locked in. The Dinner options are as follows: "Flying Spaghetti Monster" Giant Meatball stuffed with mozzarella and ricotta, over a bed of classic spaghetti, with green olive "eyeballs" "Chicken Option" Masa Crusted Chicken Breast Stuffed with Cheese and Slow-roasted Peppers & Chiles. Topped with Roasted Red Pepper and Mango Mojos Green Chili Mac and Cheese Local Farmer's Market Roasted fresh vegetables "Vegetarian Option" Marinated and grilled mushroom, lime smashed avocado, sliced heirloom tomato, goat cheese, bourbon-tomato chutney, shaved red onion and aged balsamic glaze Green Chili Mac and Cheese Local Farmer's Market Roasted fresh vegetables "Vegan Option" Marinated and grilled mushroom, lime smashed avocado, sliced heirloom tomato, bourbon-tomato chutney, shaved red onion and aged balsamic glaze Local Farmer's Market Roasted fresh vegetables (Double Portion) ***Vegan entree will NOT have the Cheese***
