SFO: is best if you are extending your trip to San Francisco. It is a 3 hour drive to Big Sur. SJC: San Jose Airport is the closest international airport to Big Sur and what we recommend most guests use. It is a 2 hour drive to Big Sur. MRY: is a small, regional airport. It is a 1 hour drive to Big Sur.
