We know that asking you to fly to Hawai'i is a lot to ask, so your presence is more than generous enough. For those of you who would still like to gift us something to commemorate the occasion, we're registered at Crate & Barrel.
Just let us know by January 1, 2019!
Keep it cool! It might be hot, and we're laid back. Sun dresses and Aloha shirts welcome. Keep in mind that we don't have a wedding party - so we might force you in to a few of our wedding photographer's shots!
The parking garage below the building has plenty of spots for events of up to 100 guests, and is privately owned by Diamond Parking. According to my wedding coordinator, they request that you pay to park, but if someone receives a ticket, they have no legal right to enforce a fine. Parking attendants also stop patrolling after 5:30pm.
Thank goodness, Uber has arrived on the Big Island! Of course, you can always grab a taxi - R Jay Taxi, (808) 201-1780.
I mean, it was pretty bad. But it wont affect the wedding. The volcano and its eruption were over 2 hours away from Kona. Hopefully things will chill out before March, especially for the people displaced by the eruption, but never fear - the wedding goes on!
