We love strolling downtown and getting baked goods, coffee, and checking out boutiques/small businesses. In one of the boutiques in this downtown, Eric tried to surprise me with a gift for my birthday, so he got the cashier to distract me upstairs with clothes so that he can buy it, but the card machine was broken. It was taking a long time and I kept trying to find Eric because I was ready to leave. The owner wanted to keep the surprise and help Eric, so she gave the gift for free lol.
