Answer
Our entire celebration — ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception — will take place outdoors, right off the cliff overlooking the ocean. 🌊 There are stairs from the shuttle drop-off to the ceremony and around the buffet area, so please keep this in mind when making decisions regarding footwear.

Answer
There’s no strict dress code — we want everyone to feel comfortable and confident. Dressy yet comfortable is perfect, a light jacket or wrap is recommended for the evening breeze. Flowy dresses, jumpsuits, dress shirts, slacks, or anything that feels festive and stylish are all great choices. Keep in mind that there will be stairs and grassy areas, so we recommend comfortable, stable shoes (block heels, wedges, or nice flats).

Answer
Yes! Shuttle pick-up is from 12:15 PM – 12:30 PM at: 📍 3650 Rio Rd, Carmel-by-the-Sea (A lot near Starbucks) The shuttle ride to the venue is approximately one hour. The venue has no guest parking, so using the shuttle is required. Return shuttles run 8:30 PM – 9:00 PM. Need to leave earlier or need special assistance? Let us know! Important notes: Children under 2 must ride in a rear facing seat. All children under 8 years must be secured in a car seat or booster seat. Children ages 8 or under 5ft 9inch may use a booster seat. You are able to leave the car seat in the shuttle or in the venue. Strollers can be stored underneath the shuttle during the ride.

There will approximately be a 2hr 15 min dance party with 3 consecutive DJs. The bride and groom will be 2/3 performers this evening, so attendance on the dance floor will be mandatory ;) *just joking*. Please reach out if you have any song requests as we will not be taking requests the day of.

Forecast: partly cloudy, high ~69°F, low ~56°F. 🌤 It may feel cooler with the ocean breeze, especially in the evening. Patio heaters and blankets will be provided, and we also recommend bringing a light jacket, shawl, or wrap for extra comfort.
