We’re getting married

Katy and Eric’s story began at Lasell University, where their paths first crossed thanks to a mutual friend (hi, Brandon!). Eric and his roommates lived directly above Katy, who had just returned from a semester spent studying in Switzerland. It didn’t take long for them to hit it off, and from that moment on, they were virtually inseparable. Fast forward through graduations, new jobs, and a global pandemic, Katy and Eric found themselves living in separate states. With the job market uncertain, they decided to follow their dream of living in a van and exploring the United States. From July to November 2020, they traveled to 17 national parks, logging thousands of miles, hiking, biking, and visiting friends across the country. In 2021, they settled into a cozy apartment in Providence, Rhode Island, and in early 2022, they added their beloved dog, Maple, to the family. In 2024, after six years of adventures, Eric proposed on their anniversary during a ski trip to Stratton, Vermont. Since then, they’ve settled into their first home in Portsmouth, RI, and can’t wait for the next chapter of their journey together. Katy and Eric will celebrate 8 years together in March 2026, just a few months before their wedding.
