Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

It's all outside! The venue is essentially a campground, so be prepared with proper footwear and warmer layers for nighttime.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Seems like it'll be high 70s during the day and drop to mid 50s at night!

Question

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking available at the venue! If you're staying onsite then there is a parking spot for you outside your lodging, and if you are driving in day of, you will be directed to a parking spot when you arrive.

Question

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

During the cocktail hour, beer, wine, and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Dinner will be served buffet style with a vegetarian & gluten-free option. During the reception, beer, wine, seltzers, and 2 signature cocktails will be served.

Question

What should I do during the day?

Answer

Hang out, have fun, and enjoy the venue and surrounding area! There is a pool that is expected to be open as well as a short trail down to the river below the venue. In additional, there are multiple games onsite: cornhole, bocce ball, ping-pong, giant connect 4, a full playground, etc. Otherwise, we've also included a few redwood groves and other points of interest to check out in the surrounding area in the "Things To Do" section of this website!

Question

What should I do for breakfast/snacks/meals that aren't provided?

Answer

As a reminder, we will be providing the welcome dinner, dinner the night of the wedding, and a sendoff brunch the morning after the wedding. For all other meals, there is a bar and restaurant onsite that you can order food from. Onsite accommodations all have kitchens or kitchenettes if you would like to bring groceries and make your own food. The nearby town of Garberville has both restaurants and grocery stores.

Question

Why didn't I get a Plus One?

Answer

Weddings are expensive! We're trying to keep this one as small and economically feasible as possible. As such, we have not allocated any plus ones. If we've somehow forgotten someone by mistake though, please let us know.

Question

I can't find the information I'm looking for.

Answer

If you have any other questions about the weekend, please let us know!
