What will the climate be like in Cuenca?

Answer

Great question! Plan for the weather being anywhere between 60 - 70 degrees (Fahrenheit) during the day. Nights can drop down to as low as 40 - 50 degrees. August is considered the dry season in Cuenca and one of the colder months. We suggest packing a light jacket or sweater for any morning or night time activities during your visit.

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

Mariscal Lamar International Airport is the most convenient for guests to fly into. Located right in the city of Cuenca, only 20 mins away from the venue.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We will be having an outdoor ceremony, follow by a cocktail hour under the Pavilion & finally the reception will be indoors. All events will take place at the Jardines de San Joaquin venue.

We kindly ask you to arrive anywhere between 3:30PM-4:00PM as the ceremony will begin at 4:15PM.

We want everyone to enjoy the celebration, so if you have any dietary needs or restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP. We’ll gladly accommodate them to ensure you’re well taken care of!

Glad you asked! We will be having a Jack and Jill in Connecticut in the May of 2026, we hope you will be able to join us and get to know each other before our big day. This will be a co-ed wedding shower featuring games, food & drinks!

Answer

Good news! Ecuador uses the U.S. dollar! No need to worry about exchanging currency before your trip.
