Eric and Ekta met in 2011 on a Monday night at a John's Big Deck Burger night, a frequent gathering place among our mutual friends. Little did we know that our friendship would turn to romance three years later in 2014 when Ekta moved away for her residency. We dated long distance for almost 2 years before Eric made the big move up to Chicago then together we moved to Charleston for Ekta's fellowship. In November 2019, after a weekend at Epcot, Eric took Ekta on a evening walk on the Charleston Battery Riverfront (the same spot as the photo below!). Under the stars Eric proposed, and the rest, as they say, is history. We're so excited to share this the next phase of our lives together! We recognize that our friends and family have loved and supported us over the years, helping shape the people we are today. We want to invite all the most special people in our lives to celebrate with us, and can't wait to finally celebrate with you in September!
