Officiant
I met Michael shortly after his birth. Michael and I are very close and followed similar paths, such as going to school down south, moving to NYC; and finding new ways to annoy our sister, Christina. Michael was asked to officiate the wedding because of his impressive public speaking skills and incredible support of our relationship.
Maid of Honor
We actually don't recall the exact moment we met Freshman year of High School...but we DO know we quickly became the best of friends. Our parents like to call us "d2" which is fitting because we are inseparable even with the 821 miles between us. Dom is my sister, and I can't wait to celebrate her wedding in the very near future, and be her Maid of Honor!
Co-Best Man
Peter and I met 23 years ago on the playground of Beverly Farms Elementary School. We were both in Ms. Arthur’s 5th grade class and bonded as the new kids on the block. Over the years, we’ve remained extremely close and found ways to share life’s most interesting moments. I’m honored that he will be standing by my side.
Co-Best Man
I met Derek during freshman year at Winston Churchill High School. We continued to stay very close as we both went to college in South Carolina. We lived together in SC, NC, and NYC after school and have taken every possible opportunity to travel the world together. Derek has always been there for me and never asked for anything in return. He’s a selfless person with a big heart and infectious personality. I’m so excited for Derek to stand by my side on our special day.
Groomsman
Sassan and I met during our time at Herbert Hoover Middle School, but became very close during college, as I frequently visited the University of Maryland during breaks. Sassan moved to NYC and lived with me in Brooklyn for 3 years before I moved to Chicago with Dani. Sassan was always a big supporter of Dani and envisioned us getting married one day. We both love Sassan for his ability to light up a room and make you feel special. We can’t wait for Sassan to join us on our big day!
Bridesmaid
Gillian and I met freshman year of college, in acting class, where she thought I was a "professional cheerleader" (due to my daily wardrobe and headband accessories). We became roommates our junior year of college and lived together until 2018 (7G & 4R forever!). Gillian and I have endless stories and endless laughter. I couldn't imagine getting through the chaos of NYC with anyone else!
Groomsman
Aaron and I met during our time at Winston Churchill High School and then became very close during our college years. Aaron and I were vacationing in Greece back in 2014 when we decided to quit our jobs and move to NYC. We lived together for a few years before he moved over to the West Coast, but still find opportunities to see each other and talk as often as possible.
Bridesmaid
Jax and I became fast friends after finding out we both were obsessed with DOGS. We spent many hours after work chit chatting and sharing stories about the crazy dog owners we work with. Jax is like a big sister to me! I wouldn't have gotten through the Pandemic without our daily convos.
Groomsman
I met Jeff through mutual friends at the College of Charleston. We became very close and always shared similar interests. I was fortunate enough to introduce Jeff to his wife Christina during their time at school and ended up marrying them at the Island House a few years back, so this wedding venue is special for so many reasons. Jeff is a genuine and caring person that I’m lucky to call one of my best friends.
Bridesmaid
I ended up living with Danni my sophomore year of college and thought she was the coolest! She took me to my first club and helped me get a fake ID (which was always rejected). We have gone on family vacations together and she convinced me to move to Brooklyn where we enjoyed many nights cooking macaroni and cheese...
Groomsman
Spencer and I became friends at the College of Charleston and we remained very close over the years. After college, we always talked about moving back to Charleston one day, so it was no surprise when we both found a way last March to start a life down south. I’m lucky to live close to such a great friend and look forward to making more memories with him down here!
Bridesmaid
I met Eric's sister, Christina, for the first time at an Italian restaurant in NYC. I was super nervous, but she put me at ease, and extended an invite to see the Christmas tree lights with her and Michael after dinner. I felt like I won the lottery then, but now, I feel like I've won the jackpot and can't wait for her to be my big-sister-in-law!
Groomsman
I met Dani’s brother, Joey, when her family picked me up at the airport (I was on a business trip to Chicago without Dani) and took me out to get Chicago’s famous pizza. Joey was my partner in crime in Chicago and we have traveled to Hawaii, Jamaica, Mexico and skied in Utah together. Looking forward to having another younger brother!
Bridesmaid
Nikita and I were always meant to be friends. We met at Northwestern University's Cherub Theatre Program our Junior year of High School. We both ended up going to College in NYC where we reconnected and became super close after being in multiple shows together. Nikita is getting married in May 2022 which we are so excited about!
Groomsman
Ryan and I are cousins though I’ve always considered him a brother. We have always been great friends and been there for each other for as long as I can remember. Can’t wait to have Ryan by my side on Dani and I’s special day.
Bridesmaid
Jess and I met Freshman year of college at Pace University. We were roommates from 2013 - 2014 in NYC where I would always pound on the walls and yell at her and Gillian to "PLEASE GO TO BED". I always look back at that being such an epic time in my life! Jess always said Eric was her "favorite boyfriend" and has always been super supportive. She took our amazing engagement photos!
Bridesmaid
Chloe and I met when we were 12 years old. I dare you to ask us to perform the American Girl Musicals because we easily will. We grew up as kids on the stage together and stayed friends all throughout high school and college. I visited Chloe at Syracuse University where she showed me what a real college party was like. After college we spent two years filming an indie movie which made us even closer. Chloe just got engaged and we are so excited to celebrate with her and Alec!
