It was the summer of 2016 and Eric and his friends decided to go out for a drink at a bar called Freehold. As he walked into the bar, he immediately locked eyes with Dani on the dance floor. Eric confidently walked up to her to ask if she wanted to dance. Dani without hesitation said “yes” and they spent the rest of the evening dancing the night away. After 2 years of dating in NYC, they made a big move to Chicago, where they quickly became dog parents to Brooklyn. Though their time in Chicago presented a few hardships; a devastating apartment flood, negative 65-degree weather, and being stuck in a 1-bedroom unit during the pandemic with a 70-pound puppy…They took up biking along the lake front and fell in love with it. They felt the urge to move somewhere where they could spend the days being outside and active. That’s when they decided to pack their bags and venture to Charleston. After buying their first home, and welcoming their second dog, Molly Mayhem, to the family, Eric popped the question. He proposed at the dock on their lake where Dani without hesitation said “obviously”. Here they are 6 years later about to have their first dance as husband and wife and continue to dominate the dance floor.
