We met in March 2014 by working together for Warren County. We would occasionally hang out in settings with friends. It wasn't until December 2016 when Bethany invited herself to the "Beacon Ball" which was the Christmas party for Eric's part time job. Following the Beacon Ball, we both realized that this could be something more. From that day on we have basically spent every single day together.

Election Day - Eric had planned to propose the day before and had asked Bethany the prior day to go on a walk with him and Bentley in which she replied "no." The following day, Eric attempted to propose again and placed a card written to Bethany on the dining room table for her to see when she got home from work. Bethany walked right past the card and went outside to see Eric and Bentley when she got home from work. Eric ran inside quickly and grabbed the card. He asked Bethany again if she wanted to go for a walk with him and Bentley in which this time, she replied "yes." Eric and Bethany walked down the street to a small lake area in the neighborhood that had a gazebo. Eric pulled the card out of his jacket and Bethany read it. Eric asked Bethany to reach inside of his pocket where he kept the ring. Of course, she opened it and started to cry and said "YES."

Thank you for celebrating with us on our special day! Most of all, thank you for the support, encouragement, love and laughter you have contributed to our lives. We are so lucky to have each of you in our lives. Special thanks to both of our parents, we would not have been able to experience this day without you. We love you guys.
