The Details
The Venue
Located just outside of Wolfville, the Tangled Garden is home to a bountiful flowering garden rated as a Nova Scotian "Must See" year after year. Guests will have full excess to the gardens as well as the on site event tent hosting this meet and eat style reception. Please see our FAQ tab for more details about attire, on site parking, etc.
The Food
Van and Co Charcuterie will be catering this event. Light fare will be provided in the form of: Self serve charcuterie boards Sandwich hand helds - a variety of flavors This display wouldn't be complete without a three tier BRIE cake Food will be provided from 1-4, we do remind guests that this is light fare and not a meal
The Drinks
A full service bar will be provided on site by the Tangled Garden Staff! Made to order with locally sourced alcohol, house made liqueurs and garden fresh garnish. Custom cocktails include: The Bentley - Espresso Martini The Basil - Plum and Basil Margarita June 16th - Hard Strawberry Lemonade Locally Brewed Beer - 1 light, 1 IPA option available This service is free of charge to all guests of legal age, but the couple is kindly asking those who indulge to please try to stick to a 3 drink maximum.
The Dessert
Its not a celebration without cake! Cake will be provided by Teaspoon Cake Shop in the the flavor Lemon Raspberry *the bride and groom will be cutting the cake at 3PM To go Ice Cream! For those looking for an additional sweet treat, hand churned ice cream will be available in to-go cups by the Tangled Garden staff. Eric's favorite flavor: Rose Petal Alisha's favorite flavor: Chocolate Mint
The Photographer!
We have hired a professional photographer to be onsite for the entirety of this event. Maritime River Photography (River) will be there to photograph and film the day for us, so we are kindly asking quests to leave their cameras at home and enjoy the afternoon with friends and family.
