I have been there twice and still feel like I could go back and explore.
It is always fun to check out Cafe Du Monde, but my favorite beignets are here. This location on Royal St. has a really pretty outdoor patio.
We visit this place multiple times when we go to Nola. It has some of the best chargrilled oysters we have found in the city and some of the best chicken and sausage gumbo. There is also a new location on Royal St.
Located across the street from Cafe Du Monde, this is a beautiful park to walk around. There are usually several vendors around the park selling art or giving readings.
This is my go to restaurant for shrimp and grits and General Andrew Jackson held a meeting there for the Battle of New Orleans.
This is the place to go for the famous Hurricane and the property boasts a really beautiful outdoor patio. Make sure you bring a friend so you can share one.
This was a close second for our wedding venue. This building is full of history and known for another famous New Orleans drink, The Pimms Cup.
This place is part antique and part museum. While everything is rotating you can expect to find paintings from Picasso and Renoir amongst others.
Hands down the best Muffaletta in the city. Believe me I have done the research.
This is the place to go for the best live music in the city
Fun place for a cocktail inside the historic hotel Monteleon.
There is bound to be incredible jazz music on any given night at this jazz hall.
Stumbled upon this place on our last visit and there was great music every time we stopped in.
This is a beautiful area just a car ride away from the French Quarter. There are several amazing restaurants, coffee shops and historic homes in the area.
One of the oldest Jazz Halls in Nola. Most performances are ticketed events.
Located inside The Four Seasons Hotel, there is an observation deck that has incredible views of the whole city.
Our favorite artist in the city. Always fun to stop in and see what he is currently working on. He is closing up shop in May so this might be the last opportunity to see his work in a gallery setting.
