Patterson Park
A local favorite of ours for hanging out with friends, picnics and gardening in the Patterson Farm. The Patterson Park Pagoda, open Sundays from 12-6pm, offers great views of the city.
Rawlings Conservatory & Botanic Gardens
Stop and smell the roses while spending an afternoon at the botanic gardens found within Druid Hill Park (GPS address N39° 19.084’, W076° 38.778’). Please note that due to COVID-19, timed tickets must be reserved in advance.
Fort McHenry
When Shaun lived on the other side of town he enjoyed going on runs along the encircling walking path, which has great views of the port and harbor. Inside the fort's walls you can get a peek into Baltimore's historic role in the War of 1812, which ultimately led to the penning of the Star Spangled Banner.
American Visionary Art Museum
One of Erica's favorite unique spots in Baltimore, the American Visionary Art Museum specializes in original thematic exhibitions that seamlessly combine art, science, philosophy, humor and especially social justice and betterment. Be sure to check out the locally infamous kinetic sculpture, Fifi the pink poodle.
The Walters Art Museum
Located in the heart of the Mt. Vernon neighborhood, this museum is free and has a wide variety of artwork on display. Enter 'The Chamber of Wonders', Erica's favorite room, and discover something new among the menagerie every time you visit.
Oriole Park at Camden Yards
Shaun and Erica went to many a game together while Shaun had season tickets to the O's during the first few years he lived in Baltimore. Sports fans will appreciate visiting Oriole Park at Camden Yards, the first of the 'retro' ballparks constructed in the 90's. Tours are available on Saturdays at 11am and Sundays at 12pm.
Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum
For all you Red Sox fans, see where that cursed Bambino was born and raised.
O'Donnell Square & Canton Waterfront Park
Check out Shaun & Erica's neighborhood. Have lunch at one of the restaurants in O'Donnell Square, peruse the boutique gift shops and then walk south down Potomac Street, located at the East end of the Square to the Canton Waterfront Park where they tied the knot last October.
Historic Fells Point Fun Festival
If you cannot join us on Sunday and want to venture out on your own on Saturday, check out the historic Fells Point neighborhood at its liveliest. This street festival is packed with vendors and boasts live music, food and drinks. You can of course opt to support one of the many local restaurants that line the festival as well!
The Avenue in Hampden
Check out this quirky neighborhood that's both known for its hipster flair and the legendary Honfest. Dine at one of the numerous great restaurants, dip into funky antique shops or score a bargain at one of its thrift stores.
Monument City Brewing
One of our favorite local breweries. Check out their flagship, 51 Rye, as well as their numerous seasonal releases at their brewery and taproom.
Ministry of Brewing
Ministry of Brewing landed a spot on Esquire's 50th Annual Best Bars in America list and for good reason! This historic renovation of a local church, turned brewery and taproom is truly breathtaking. A must-see if you ask us.
Diamondback Brewing Company
For those touring on the west side of town and seeking a local brewery, this is your spot. They have great pizza too!
Cross Street Market
One of the oldest public market's in the US, Cross Street Market anchors the Federal Hill neighborhood. Originally built in the 1900's, it recently underwent a massive renovation and features a wide variety of vendors.
Mount Vernon Marketplace
A former department store turned marketplace Mount Vernon Marketplace is a fun community gathering space that serves both as a foodie destination and supporter of local artists.
Baltimore Farmer's Market & Bazaar
Looking for something to do Sunday morning, but can't join us at the Fells Point Fun Festival? Check out the Farmer's Market located under I-83 where you can get your caffeine fix from our favorite coffee spot, Latte Da, and find a bite to eat while walking among the many wonderful local vendors.
