Question

What about COVID-19? Is it impacting the wedding?

Answer

Over the past year COVID-19 has had a significant impact on all of our lives. In order to protect our friends and family we kindly require that all guests be fully vaccinated to attend. That said, we respect that the decision to be vaccinated is a very personal one and understand if you would rather celebrate with us in spirit as a result. Alternatively, we also understand if you are not ready to attend a large event. We absolutely do not want any of our guests to do anything that makes them uncomfortable during these continued unprecedented times. You can update your RSVP anytime on our site. Please just plan to have your final response in by September 1st to allow us to finalize plans accordingly.

Question

What are Maryland's COVID-19 policies?

Answer

The lift on all restrictions in Maryland was unfortunately short-lived and too good to be true. While Maryland currently has one of the highest vaccination rates in the country, leadership has been pragmatic and careful throughout the pandemic and as such Baltimore City has reinstated their indoor mask mandate regardless of vaccination as of Monday, August 9th. We will be updating the site if anything changes, but for now please plan to bring and wear masks indoors for the wedding and the duration of the weekend. There are no out of state travel restrictions or testing requirements in place at this time. For those who are flying, passengers are required to continue to wear face coverings inside BWI airport, and aboard shuttles, public transit, and aircraft. For more details on safety measures being taken at BWI, please visit the airport’s website. The latest information on Maryland policies can be found here: https://governor.maryland.gov/marylandunites/

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 4:15pm to allow time to be seated before the ceremony begins at 4:30pm.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available at The Mill Center, 820 Mill Road, Baltimore, MD 21211. This lot is a short three minute walk from the ceremony location. Please do not park at Art with a Heart or FastSpot. These lots are reserved for the businesses, residents and restaurant.

Question

Is there transportation for guests staying at Hotel Indigo?

Answer

Yes, a shuttle service is available for transportation to and from the ceremony. The shuttle will depart at 4pm for the ceremony and will return to the hotel at 9:30pm when the reception wraps. The same shuttle will also be available to guests who desire to attend the after party at Hotel Revival.

Question

Is there transportation from the ceremony to the after party?

Answer

YES! A shuttle will be available to transport guests who desire to keep the party going. It will pick guests up at the ceremony location and drop off at Hotel Revival in Mt. Vernon.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Ladies are welcome to wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits or go glam and wear a gown! Men are invited to wear a suit or a jacket and slacks.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Please let us know if you need assistance with childcare and we can help you with locating babysitters to make that a reality. That said, if you have an infant, if you can sling 'em, you can bring 'em.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We do! A room block has been reserved at Hotel Indigo in the Mt. Vernon neighborhood. Please see our Travel & Accommodations page for all the info you need.
