When in Rome... It wouldn’t be a trip to Nashville without a stroll (or a honky-tonk crawl) down Broadway! With live music pouring out of every bar, neon lights, and plenty of photo ops, it’s a must-see—especially since it’s just a short walk from our hotel blocks. Our favorite bars- Underground (bull riding), Valentine's (best live music), Jason Aldean's (duh), & Robert's Western World (ask for the Recession Special). That said… our wedding will start promptly on Saturday, so save your rowdiest energy for the dance floor, NOT Friday night on Broadway. 😉
One of our first dates! A must for any music lover—walk through decades of country music history.
Dive into the life and legacy of one of music’s greatest icons. Our favorite spot to check out is the HIDDEN bar within the museum (House of Cards)- EXCEPTIONAL magic & drinks (no ticket required). Heads up-- although the bar is off broadway, the bar (not the museum) requires formal attire (No Jeans for women).
A perfect stop for groups or indecisive appetites- Assembly has something for everyone under one roof. Skip the long line at Hattie B’s outside and head straight to Prince’s Hot Chicken—a Nashville original with serious heat and local cred. Trust us, the chicken’s better and the line’s shorter. 🔥🐔
Our favorite BBQ! Laid-back spot in 12 South or East Nashville serving up smoky Southern staples—great for a casual lunch or group hang. We recommend the Tuck Special (with Turkey), the Burnt Ends & you can't go wrong with their sides like mac & cheese and cornbread.
Just west of downtown, this beautiful green park is home to a full-scale replica of the Parthenon & some of our favorite memories. Our first apartment was just across the street, and we spent many covid afternoons here on picnic blankets, dreaming about the future. A peaceful spot to relax, stroll, or soak in a little Nashville charm.
Want to participate in one of our favorite pastimes- shopping? Check out 12 South! Charming, walkable street full of local shops, coffee spots, and murals. Great for a daytime stroll after brunch.
Trendy neighborhood near downtown with cool shops, brunch spots, and a great photo op at the angel wings mural. Perfect to walk down the street, do some shopping & find some delicious eats along the way!
