Is the welcome party open for everyone?
Answer
Although we can't wait to share our special day with everyone, we want to celebrate those family & friends taking the time to travel to us. Therefore, we ask that the welcome party be reserved for those out-of-town guests and appreciate you understanding.

What’s the dress code for the wedding?
Answer
The dress code is black tie optional. Think formal and elegant—tuxedos or dark suits for men, and long gowns or dressy cocktail dresses for women. We want you to feel your best, so wear what makes you feel polished and celebratory! When it comes to colors, please stick with neutrals, NO bright colors please.

Can I bring a plus-one?
Answer
Please refer to your invitation. If your invite includes a guest, they’re absolutely welcome! If your invitation is addressed to just you, then no plus-one.

Are kids invited?

We love your little ones, but our wedding weekend will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding!

Will there be an after party?
Answer
There is not a formal after party; however it's pretty expected we will be hitting Broadway after to celebrate with friends & family. We will announce what bar to start the crawl closer to the date so keep an eye on the "Schedule" page for that.

Will there be transportation for out-of-town guests to & from the ceremony?
Answer
Yes, a old-fashioned trolley will be escorting guests to and from! Regardless of which hotel you choose, there will only be one pick-up spot at the 1 Hotel. They will also drop us back off to the 1 Hotel for the reception!

Do I need to rent a car?
Answer
Not necessarily! Most of our events are walkable or a short Uber/Lyft ride from the hotel blocks downtown. If you plan to explore more of the city, a car could be helpful. And the 1 Hotel offers a complimentary house car for guests staying there for FREE rides within 5 miles!
