Things To Do

Old Town Scottsdale

Scottsdale, AZ 85251

Explore Old Town Scottsdale for amazing dining, shopping, and nightlife. Lots of fun bars and restaurants, as well as coffee shops, breweries and souvenirs! We love Goldwater Brewery for a flight of craft beers, Olive & Ivy for brunch, and Barrio Queen for Mexican food and margaritas. If you’re looking for a dive bar with amazing pizza, Gilligan’s is the spot!

Sedona

Sedona, AZ 86336

Just a two hour drive from the venue, Sedona is a beautiful destination whether you are going for the day or staying a couple of nights. Sedona is absolutely a vacation destination in its own right, but many visitors find themselves here just on their way to the Grand Canyon. If a visit to the Grand Canyon part of your plan, we highly recommend that you book yourself a Sedona hotel room or vacation rental for a couple of nights. Sedona is also a fantastic home base to visit all of what northern Arizona has to offer. From Sedona jeep tours, hiking, Slide Rock, and Oak Creek Canyon to spiritual healing, massages, and energy vortexes, Sedona, AZ has become a mecca for all sorts of communities: spiritual healers, mountain bikers, hikers, artists, nature photographers, and even filmmakers. We suggest visiting the Chapel of the Holy Cross, taking a hike by Cathedral Rock, and stopping for lunch and beers at Sedona Beer Company.

Jerome

Jerome, AZ 86331

Worth the visit if you are heading to Sedona, Jerome is the "wickedest town in the West". Jerome resides above what was once the largest copper mine in Arizona which was producing an astonishing 3 million pounds of copper per month. Men and women from all over the world made their way to Arizona to find work and perhaps a new way of life. Today the mines may be silent, but Jerome has found new life as the largest ghost town in America. Once a thriving mining camp full of miners, bootleggers, gamblers, and prostitutes, now a bustling tourist destination full of artists, musicians, and gift shop proprietors. Plus, it was featured on one of Erica's favorite shows, Ghost Adventures! She suggests checking out the vintage and antique shops, stopping for some pulled pork sliders at Bobby D's BBQ or a burger at The Haunted Hamburger, and taking some photos of the Sliding Jail!
