We're getting married!

Maciej and I first met in Raleigh, NC, over a shared plate of wings at the neighborhood bar & grill, Highpark. Our Midwestern roots, love of travel, family, and those wings sparked an instant connection! We stayed in touch over the next few months as Covid set in until we were able to go on our first date at Wrightsville Beach in June of 2020. Exactly five years to the day of our wedding, he asked me to be his girlfriend. Our story has been filled with love, adventure, and unforgettable memories. We are so excited to start this new chapter by coming together and celebrating with everyone who has helped shape us as individuals and a couple! xoxo

After moving to Wilmington to be closer to the beach we love so much, Maciej added another beautiful memory to our story. During a warm fall morning beach walk—at the very spot where we had our first date and where he asked me to be his girlfriend—he surprised me by getting down on one knee. With Boomer by our side and the beach to ourselves, he asked us to make it forever. It was perfect.
