The park opens up to artists/crafts people and food truck vendors! Fun to walk through, browse, and grab a corn dog!
The green belt runs throughout downtown and nearby areas! It is walkable, and bikeable and a lovely way to spend time. It even runs by the zoo if you want to stop and visit with some animals!
Visit our local botanical garden to see some lovely scenery and native plants!
Boise has one of the highest Basque populations outside of the Basque country! Visit the local Basque block for delicious food and a museum tour!
There is no shortage of bike rental options! You will see Green Bikes parked throughout town that you can rent and return at various locations. You can also rent mountain bikes at George's Cycles (https://www.georgescycles.com) and Idaho Mountain Touring (https://www.idahomountaintouring.com) if that sounds fun!
There are many hiking trails nearby. Consider the hike up to Tablerock (a bit of a steep climb), or the Hulls Gulch hiking trails which are a bit more manageable. Both are about 10 minutes outside of downtown and off-leash areas if you're bringing your fury friend! Bogus Basin is about 45 minutes away if you want to get out of town and explore a bit!
