Getting to Birmingham
For those within driving distance, it is easiest to drive. Flying into DTW: Rent a car or get a Lyft/Uber. I love public transit, but Detroit apparently doesn't, so don't even bother trying! For a lucky few, there is a direct train service (Wolverine Train) that takes you to the Troy Transit Center, which is a 5 minute Uber ride to Birmingham. The stops along the Wolverine train are: Chicago, New Buffalo, Niles, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Albion, Jackson Station, Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Detroit, Royal Oak, and Troy.
