Things to Eat

Skyline Chili

Cincinnati chili is a Mediterranean spiced meat sauce used as a topping for spaghetti (3-Way) or hot dogs (Coney) with cheddar cheese as garnish. Other restaurants serve this style of chili, but Skyline is the best and the Oldfield-Ruth recommendation. In 2013, the Smithsonian named it as one of the "20 Most Iconic Foods in America" Erica's order: 4-way with onion with oyster crackers Jim's order: 5-way with extreme cheese with extra skyline hot sauce

Things to Eat

Graeter's Ice Cream

This small-batch French Pot ice cream is made from high butterfat that is frozen with very little trapped air. This yields to an irresistibly indulgent result with chocolate poured into the frozen batch, then broken up into soft unique chips. They are known for their Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip. Jim's order: Midnight Snack with Hot Fudge Erica's order: Buckeye Blitz Chocolate Chip .

Things to Drink

New Riff Distillery

The most north member of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. This distillery is “A New Riff On An Old Tradition,” and that tradition is sour-mash Kentucky whiskey-making. Building upon America’s 1897 Bottled in Bond Act—already the highest quality standard for aged spirits in the world—New Riff’s whiskeys are bottled in bond without chill filtration. New Riff sits directly over a limestone-rich aquifer that supplies the distillery with water - an outstanding water source for whiskey-making. Located at 24 DISTILLERY WAY NEWPORT, KY 41073 Jim & Erica's favorite bourbon at New Riff: 8-Year Rye
