We need to give credit where credit is due... thank you Hinge for bringing us together! Erica saw Garrett's profile and couldn't resist the right swipe. After chatting back and forth for a few weeks, Garrett asked Erica on a date that included margaritas and a walk through Meridian Hill Park in Washington, D.C.. Fortunately for Garrett, walks and margaritas are two of Erica's favorite things! From this first date, many more dates followed as they began to grow their life together. Fast forward to a Saturday in December of 2023, Garrett and Erica had plans to go into Georgetown. Erica did not think anything was out of the ordinary as they go into Georgetown often, but as they approached the waterfront, Garrett was unusually persistent on showing Erica the view of the Potomac river. When they reached the waterfront, Garrett got down on one knee and asked Erica to be his forever soulmate. The two could not be happier together and can't wait to get married!
