We're Getting Married!

The year was 2013 and it was summer in New York City! Dan had been hired by SOCAPA - School of Creative and Performing Arts - as an RA and teaching assistant for the acting program. He was fresh out of Ithaca College's prestigious Acting program and ready to flex his acting and teaching muscles. Erica had been hired as the head acting teacher for the junior acting campus and was eager to put two of her favorite things into action, acting and teaching. Upon arriving for orientation Erica was was unsure of where she needed to sign in. She approached a handsome young man, that's Dan, and asked where she should sign in. Dan, assuming Erica was a student, said, "Well which program are you in darlin?" Erica smiled, flattered to be thought of as a student, and replied, "Oh, no, I'm one of the acting teachers." Dan's face went red and he apologized profusely. He pointed her in the direction of teacher sign in and got back to greeting students. Later, at the faculty meeting, the head of the camp was assigning teaching teams. When he got to Dan he said, "Oh and Dan, you'll be assisting...Erica Harte this summer." Erica grinned and suppressed a laugh as Dan once again turned that perfect shade of red. They spent the entire summer teaching together, drinking martinis and eating truffle fries after work, and generally refusing to admit they had feelings for each other. It wasn't until after the summer job was done that they became an item, because as Erica always says, "Don't shit where you eat."
