WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?

We invite you to RSVP online or by text no later than May 15th, 2026.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE CEREMONY?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will begin at 2:30pm. We kindly invite all guests to arrive by 2:15pm so everyone can be comfortably seated and ready to celebrate with us.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

Yes! The dress code is Semi-Summer Formal. Women: Cocktail dresses, Formal Jumper, Skirt, Dressy Top, Slacks, heels, wedges or dressy sandals. Bright or pastel colors work well. Men: Dress slacks or chinos with a button-down shirt, optional blazer, polo and loafers or dress shoes. A tie is optional. The ceremony & cocktail hour will be held outside and the reception will be inside.

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

We wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate additional guests at this time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out as the wedding date approaches, we would love to let you know if any seating becomes available.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults only event, with the exception of our family members. Thank you for making arrangements ahead of time. We do apologize for any inconvenience. If you’re an immediate friend of the bride or groom and your significant other has to stay home with the kids please feel free to invite a friend to take their place! Let’s have fun!

CAN WE TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY?

Answer

Yes, explore your inner photography skills. But please remember to turn your flash off during the ceremony. We will be having a Wedibox QR Code at each dinner table for you to upload photos so we can see our ceremony and reception through your eyes.

IS THERE GOING TO BE ALCOHOL?

Answer

Yes! Beer, Seltzers & Wine. After the ceremony there will be an outside cocktail hour on the deck and inside there will be a table spread of meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, chips, salsa, queso, & guacamole. Under the tables there are coolers filled with your choice of beers & seltzers. We will have white wine and red wine. On every table there will be a bottle of Champagne for a toast. If you do not drink we will have Welch’s Sparkling White Grape Bottles for you. If you want to bring your own bottle of liquor that is entirely up to you. Also, there will be a cooler of non alcoholic beverages (kid friendly) of your choice of Pepsi, Sprite, and small bottles of water under the catering tables. We will also have two big dispensers one with Sweet Tea and the other one will have Lemonade. Enjoy!

IS THERE PARKING?

Answer

Yes, if you would like to drive or carpool to the venue, there is plenty of parking. We highly recommend taking an Uber or Lyft if you plan on drinking. Your safety is very important to us please be responsible. If you absolutely need to leave your car for any reason please let the bride know so she can inform the Event Coordinator otherwise we cannot leave cars over night. We do apologize for this inconvenience.

DO YOU HAVE HOTEL RECOMMENDATIONS?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at The Cranberry Hotel which is across the parking lot of Tropics Bar & Restaurant. Reservations are under “Wedding Party Spencer/Butcher” and have to be booked by May 15th for Friday, June 19th. Please see the travel section for more details!

DOES THE HOTEL PROVIDE A SHUTTLE?

Answer

Unfortunately, they do not provide a shuttle service to the wedding. We recommend on getting an Uber or Lyft to and from the venue.

IS THERE AN AFTER PARTY?

Answer

Yes! After the reception, the party doesn’t have to end we invite anyone who wishes to continue the celebration to join us at Tropics. This is a family restaurant and is where our story began, and we would love to end our wedding night there together. The reception will conclude at 10:00 p.m., and we kindly ask for a lending hand with cleanup, we’d be so grateful. This way we can depart by 10:45 p.m. and carry the festivities forward.🎉

Yes! We have a DJ who will be there for the ceremony and reception.

Tropics Bar & Restaurant will be catering with a buffet setup for guests to self serve and enjoy!

Registry & Gift Options?

Answer

We are so excited to be building our future home and planning our wedding! Since we truly don’t need any physical gifts, we would be so grateful for any contribution toward our future home or honeymoon. For convenience, we’ve added my Venmo link under the registry options. We will also have a card box at the designated gift table for anyone who would like to bring a card or gift in person. Your love, support, and presence on our special day mean the most to us! 💕
