“When A&E Bubble Formed Forever”

July 14th, 2023

It all started on a Friday night when I went to a concert with my friend. After the show, I wasn’t ready to call it a night, so I decided to stop by my neighbor’s place. She had a friend in town, and I convinced them to join me for a night out at Tropics. Once we got there, I noticed a handsome guy walking by. Our eyes met, and we couldn’t stop staring at each other. Curious, I asked the bartender about him, and she explained that he participates in a local golf outting charity event every year and was a really sweet guy. Encouraged, I finally went over to introduce myself. I asked for his name—Austin—and learned he had recently moved back here from Arizona for good. He asked me to dance, and we spent hours talking and dancing, completely lost in the moment. We shared our first kiss that night, a magical, fireworks-filled moment that neither of us would forget. I said we are in the A&E Bubble and he laughed. On July 19th, we committed to each other and began a long-distance relationship, making sure to see each other at least once a month. On June 30th, 2024, I moved in with Austin, and our relationship grew even stronger. Finally, on January 28th, Austin proposed in the most intimate and beautiful way—just the two of us at home, having a deep conversation about our future. In the middle of our talk, he stopped, pulled out a ring from his suitcase, and asked me to marry him. I said YES! Our story is a reminder that sometimes, the most unexpected nights can lead to the most unforgettable love.
