Head into Manhattan and stroll through the historic brick building filled with gourmet food vendors, artisanal shops, and unique boutiques. Be sure to also look for signs that say "NY1," where we both currently work.
If you want to trek into the city limits, we went here as friends prior to our first date and it's one of our favorite places to hang out in New York City.
This iconic park is home to the Queens Museum, the Unisphere and the New York Hall of Science. Also, Atlan once lost his phone here on a bike ride once (it was returned to him by a good Samaritan).
If you want to do a little shopping, Roosevelt Field Mall offers a wide range of stores, boutiques and restaurants. Erica also once worked at the Sephora here.
While you're on Long Island for our wedding, check out the Cradle of Aviation Museum, not to far from where Charles Lindbergh once lived.
Before our wedding activities get underway, or maybe after, check the racing schedule and enjoy a day at the track.
Adventureland (yes, from the movie of the same name) isn't too far from where we're getting married. It's full of family-friendly games and rides. Also, Erica lost her first tooth here as a kid!
A bit of a hike from where we're getting married, but if you're looking for something fun to do - this is one of the best aquariums in New York!
If you're heading into Suffolk County, pay a visit to the iconic Big Duck, affectionately known as the "duck." Take a picture and send it to Atlan's mom, Heather, who always calls him "duck" too.
