Determined to make the most of our time together, we embarked on an unforgettable summer, ticking off his "NYC Bucket List." As August rolled around, we faced the harsh reality of long-distance love. Weekend visits, nightly FaceTimes and unwavering commitment bridged the miles between us for nine months. Then, the pandemic brought us closer, spending three months side by side. By June 2020, we took the leap and moved in together, sealing our bond. Two years after making it official, Atlan stood atop the Space Needle in Seattle, where he asked me a question that would change our lives forever.
