Our story began with a dating app download and an 8 hour flight. On a whim, Erica booked a spontaneous girls trip to Spain. Over Spanish tapas and sangria, her girlfriend Lindsey encouraged her to try a dating app - Hinge. Meanwhile, Andy was preparing to travel to France for a work trip. He was dreading the long flight and two weeks away from Skippy 🐶 He was active on Hinge, but after a few bad dates, he was thinking of taking a break. We were both traveling internationally in and out of O’Hare, when the dating app algorithm worked its magic, and we matched 💘 Erica was still jet lagged in Wisconsin and Andy was still eating cured meats in France, but we messaged each other until Andy *finally* asked Erica on a date. Andy got home from his trip on a Friday evening and met Erica for their first date the following day! We met in Hartford for a drink, which turned into dinner, which turned into a five hour first date. The next day, Andy asked Erica on a second date, and she of course said yes. By the third date, Andy and Erica both knew it was meant to be. Despite the hour distance between us, we became inseparable and spent every weekday chatting on the phone and every weekend together. A month in, we were at Danny Boys and Andy won shake of the day 🎲 In his pure excitement, he let the “L” word slip out and Erica was ecstatic to hear they both felt the same way 💕 The next few months involved dog meets 🐶 family meets, friend meets, and “yada, yada, yadda” then came April. Despite a slip on the ice and a bump on the head, Andy proceeded as planned to pop the question in Green Bay on a weekend getaway. Erica said “YES!!!” and now we can’t wait for our big day. The last year has flown by in the best way. We’ve waited our whole lives to feel a love like this, and we are so excited to become husband and wife. We often talk about how we wish we had met each other sooner, but now we look forward to making up for lost time ❤️

• We have 16 nieces and nephews (the youngest five were all born in 2024!) • Our two pups were both coincidentally rescued from Texas! Finley is 10 🐶 and Skippy is 5 🐶 • We bought our first home in the midst of wedding planning, we like to make things extra exciting! • Our favorite show to watch together is Seinfeld (see reference above) • We consider ourselves Chicken Ranch Wrap connoisseurs and visit local bars in search of the best (right now it’s a toss up between Sinissippi Lake Pub in Hustisford and Zig’s in Beaver Dam) • We have an “Old Fashioned 🥃” Passport and use it as the perfect excuse to try new supper clubs • While we both grew up in Wisconsin, Andy continues to teach Erica new things - like the existence of Brandy Slush and the pure joy of Kwik Trip • We bring out the best in each other and are true soulmates- we are so thankful to have met one another and can’t wait to celebrate at our wedding with each of you!
