The closest airport is San Juan International Airport (SJU). From there, Dorado Beach is about a 35-minute drive. You can rent a car, schedule private transportation, or use Uber, which is typically accessible and reliable for the trip to Dorado. We recommend planning your transportation in advance to make your arrival as smooth as possible!

We recommend the Hyatt Vacation Club at Hacienda del Mar as the primary hotel for our wedding guests. Located beachfront in Dorado, this resort offers spacious studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom villas with kitchenettes or full kitchens, private balconies, and living areas—perfect for singles, couples, and families. Enjoy beautiful ocean views, a relaxing pool and spa, direct beach access, a fitness center, and on-site activities. With its resort-style amenities and convenient location just a 5 minute drive to the location of the Welcome Party, Reception, and about a 15 minute drive to the church. Please book from a third party website as the main Hyatt Website does not offer those dates!! UPDATE: 12/1 HYATT CURRENTLY HAS NO ROOMS AVAILABLE. Due to the fact that its a timeshare, owners have up until 30 days before the weekend to release. Please keep checking third-party websites and we will also be letting know when rooms become available.

This is another hotel option in the Dorado area. Church, venue, and welcome party are all in about a 10 minute drive from here! The reason why we did not have this on the website in the first place is at is it undergoing slow renovation. Thanks!

Another excellent option for guests—especially those in larger groups or planning an extended stay—is renting a private home through Airbnb, Vrbo, or local realtors in and around Dorado. The area offers many spacious vacation homes and villas, often featuring full kitchens, private pools, multiple bedrooms, and beach access—perfect for families or groups who want room to spread out. Travel Note
If you're planning to stay in Dorado for more than a few days and would like easy access to places like the grocery store, pharmacy, or nearby attractions, we recommend renting a car. For shorter stays, Uber is easily accessible and reliable within Dorado. We’ll also be providing transportation on the day of the wedding, so no need to worry about getting to the celebration!
