Not necessarily! Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory and therefore accepts drivers license to travel. BUT, you do need a REAL ID! If you do not have a Real ID yet, then yes you will need to travel with a passport.
Transportation will be provided via buses from the church to our wedding venue on the beach. If you are staying at the Hyatt Beach Club Residences (Hacienda del Mar), then transportation will also be provided to the church ceremony and from the wedding venue at the end of the night.
Unfortunately the Hyatt does not have those dates available on the main website. Please refer to other third party websites such as Expedia, Booking.com, or Traveler to book a room with them!
Puerto Rico does not observe Daylight Savings Time, so the island stays on Atlantic Standard Time all year. While Daylight Savings in the U.S. begins on March 8, 2026, the clocks in Puerto Rico will not change at all. Your phone should update automatically when you arrive, but don’t be surprised if the time on your device shifts to match local time. Just double-check your phone so you’re on schedule for all wedding events!
