Averages for Ashland on June 24th show a high of 80 and low of 52. The lodge is 2,000 feet above town so I'd guess the high at the lodge would be in the low 70s in that instance. Rain is unlikely however it is about a 7% chance. Don't expect to be cold, but definitely bring layers for after dark.
We don't expect everyone to be in formal suit attire, it's a mountain lodge wedding outdoors in the redwoods, but the sharper the better in our opinion! We encourage that you dress to impress, but no need to over do it. You do you!
No open bar, however there is a full bar in the restaurant you can order drinks from, and for those staying in the lodge, there is no problem with bringing your own drinks into your room. We will be providing wine/ champagne at dinner.
There is a large parking lot onsite that we don't expect to fill up, however for those who can carpool you should absolutely try to. We will not be providing transportation to and from town. Driving back and forth from town is by Highway 5 on a large mountain grade so drive responsibly and have a DD available. There is also an alternate scenic route up to the lodge from Old Hwy 99.
We did not *formally* invite any children and would prefer you leave the littles at home if possible. However, we would rather have you with us, so please reach out if you'd like to bring your kiddos. We will have a kids meal available at dinner.
We would like you to RSVP as soon as possible, but the first week of May at the latest please!
