dressy, but just a note the reception and ceremony are all outside in an uneven meadow. We recommend avoiding heals all together, and wearing a closed toe shoe to avoid any irritation from the vegetation.

The owner will handle parking at Tihsreed, the drive way is steep and as he knows the property best. We'd like everyone to know that even if you are not staying at Tihsreed Lodge you are encouraged and welcome to come and relax and hang out with us on site over the weekend. The Climate is MUCH drier than Michigan but temps in August are about the same in Florissant Co. as they are in Michigan in August during the day. However, at night temps can drop to the 50's at times so pack some jeans and hoodies :-) If you are staying off site, the drive from Cripple Creek to the lodge (reception) is about a half hour, it's a lovely winding mountain road. We will have shuttles that will be available to take guests to the site at the beginning of the day on the 24th, and there will also be shuttles to take people back to Cripple Creek at the end of the night.
