FAQs

If you have any questions not listed here, please reach out to the bride, Annie at 703-862-7700, as she is very happy to help with any questions our dear guests may have!
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We request that you mail your RSVP before September 15th. This ensures that we have enough time to communicate an exact guest count with our vendors in a respectful timeframe.

Question

Is the Ceremony unplugged?

Answer

Yes, we are requesting that guests keep cell phones, cameras, and any other devices away and on silent in order for us all to be present in the moment. If you want pictures, we will have uploaded a gallery of photos soon after the wedding that our professional photographer will have taken. This does not mean you can't take photos at the reception or before the ceremony!

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Men should wear a nice shirt and blue jeans or slacks with a sport coat or blazer; Women wear any length dress; we prefer if you choose from any muted color pallet so our guests will mesh perfectly with the atmosphere! We also ask that nobody but the bride wear white on the day of the wedding.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love all of our families' little ones, but invitations will specifically include the names of the children who are invited. However, we encourage you to use this wedding as a "get-away" for you and your partner!

Question

Can I wear white, ivory, or any cream color attire?

Answer

No, please let the bride have her day.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation will specify how many seats have been saved in your honor.

Question

What type of footwear should I wear?

Answer

Whatever you are comfortable in! However please keep in mind that the property has grass, dirt and gravel terrain.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

No, the bride and groom do not drink alcohol so we will not be serving it. We can all have fun without anyways!

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the venue.

Question

When should I arrive to the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5:00 so we ask that you arrive 15-30 minutes early to allow time for parking and seating.

For all the days along the way
