The ceremony will start promptly at 4 PM. Please plan to arrive at least fifteen minutes before (3:45 PM) so that everyone can be seated and ready. Our ceremony will be immediately followed by dinner. Once people have eaten, we will gather outside for cake and dancing! At 8 PM, the party will officially come to a close as the couple has their grand exit, but please if you are able, plan to stay a little longer to help the bride and groom's families and wedding party clean up.
YES! We are expecting you to bring your kiddos. If you are traveling from out of town or would rather have a date night just the two of you, that is also fine. Just know your kids are very welcome!
Wear your Sunday best! Pinks, purples, reds, and dark orange will all be on theme, but please wear whatever dress clothes you enjoy! It is the 'Sip so be mindful of the heat since our reception will be outside.
We are nailing down details, but we are planning to do pulled pork sandwiches with all the summer sides! And if you live in the Jackson area and are willing to help by bringing sides (potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, chips, etc.), please let Maggie know!
We are excited to have you and would love all the help we could get! Specifically, we would love if some people would stay after the party to help our families and wedding party clean up and get the space ready for church the next morning (we will have pictures for reference). If you are in the Mississippi area, help preparing and/or coordinating food would also be greatly appreciated! And if you have a specific skill set (flowers, hair, makeup, etc.) that you believe could be useful, please let Maggie know!
Thank you for covering us in prayer! We feel our need for it! Some specific ways we would love for you to be praying for us would be: Community and opportunities prepared for us in Houston as Ephram begins his new job ... Blessing in our wedding planning and preparation for marriage ... Protection from the Enemy's schemes as we step into life together ... Humility and readiness to repent and forgive ... Joy in Christ and joy in each other ... Faithful mentors and friends to come alongside us (so thankful for the ways the Lord is already answering this prayer!) ... Wisdom in the logistics of early married life (routines, chores, jobs, etc.) ... Finally, that the Lord would bless us to receive His blessings with so much praise! He has already wowed us both with His faithful provision, and we are so thankful for how He has used our communities to love on us in this season!
